Reviews

From clients who've been here

"I brought in a vintage Seiko that had been sitting in a drawer for about eight years. It was running slow and the crystal was badly scratched. The inspection report they gave me was thorough — clearer than I expected. The watch came back running well and looking like it had some life left in it. Timeline was just over two weeks, which I thought was reasonable."

"The crystal on my grandfather's watch had cracked, and I was nervous about having anyone touch it. Krit was straightforward with me about what could and couldn't be done, and they didn't try to talk me into more work than was needed. The new crystal fits well and the case looks considered — not over-buffed. I was glad I didn't just hand it to a mall repair kiosk."

"I'm a collector and I've dealt with a few workshops in Bangkok over the years. What stands out here is the condition report — it's actually detailed, not just a form with a few checkmarks. The timing data they include at the end was exactly what I needed for the record. I've sent three watches here over the past year and each one has come back performing well."

"My father's Omega had not been running for years. I expected bad news, but the inspection came back with a clear list of what was needed and the costs were explained before anything was done. The Heritage Overhaul took about three and a half weeks but the result was worth it — it's keeping time properly and the dial was handled carefully. Good people to deal with."

"I came in unsure what my watch actually needed — the staff spent time looking at it and explained the options clearly. Didn't feel pushed toward a more expensive service. I went with the movement service and the watch was ready in 12 days. It runs noticeably smoother now. Would have given five stars but collection took slightly longer than originally estimated — though I was notified in advance."

"I'm based in Singapore and was visiting Bangkok when my watch needed attention. A friend who collects referred me here. The team communicated well by email after I left the country — I was kept updated and the piece was returned by courier in good condition. The written report they included was more detailed than I've received from workshops in Singapore. Impressive, and I'll be back."

A closer look at three service journeys

The Challenge

A 1974 Seiko 5 with no service history

The client inherited a dress watch that hadn't been opened in at least two decades. It was losing over four minutes per day and the crown was stiff. No service history was available.

The Solution

Full Heritage Overhaul. On disassembly, the mainspring was worn and several jewels were running dry. The mainspring was replaced after client approval, the movement cleaned ultrasonically, and the crown mechanism freed and re-lubricated. The dial was gently cleaned without chemical treatment.

The Outcome

Watch returned running within +6 seconds per day — within acceptable mechanical tolerance. Condition report documented the mainspring replacement and timing results across five positions. Timeline: 26 working days due to mainspring sourcing.

"I didn't expect it to run this well. It was my uncle's watch." — Wanchai S.

The Challenge

Collector's automatic with cracked sapphire crystal

A Bangkok-based collector brought in a modern automatic with a deep impact crack in the sapphire crystal. The movement was unaffected but the case had surface scratches from regular wear.

The Solution

Crystal & Case Restoration. A replacement sapphire crystal was sourced to the correct specification. The case was given selective scratch reduction on the brushed surfaces only — the polished edges were left untouched to preserve the original finish contrast. The client was consulted before any polishing began.

The Outcome

Watch returned in 7 working days. Sapphire crystal fitted correctly with correct AR coating. Case finish preserved as discussed. Client noted the result was more conservative than he expected — which he considered a positive.

"They didn't over-polish it. That was exactly right." — Somchai C.

The Challenge

Client unsure whether a service was worthwhile

A client came in with an everyday automatic that ran inconsistently. She wasn't sure if the watch was worth the cost of a service or whether she should simply replace it.

The Solution

Free initial inspection. The movement was found to be in reasonable condition with no worn components — just significantly dried lubricants from years of use. The recommendation was a standard Movement Service, with the client informed there was no unusual parts cost expected.

The Outcome

Service completed in 11 working days. Watch returned running within +8 seconds per day. Client kept the watch. The inspection allowed her to make an informed decision rather than a guessed one.

"I nearly threw it away. Glad I didn't." — Nuttaporn R.
